Bisque socket head incised "1078 Germany SIMON & HALBIG S&H 15 1/2 with blue glass sleep eyes, open mouth with teeth, painted lower lashes and silk uppers, nicely enameled brows, on original fully jointed wood and composition body with original patina. She wears her original gold blond mohair wig, simple white cotton dotted Swiss dress, and very nice antique pale blue silk shoes. As might be expected, the cardboard and wooden box has some wear and tape re-enforcement, but still has a label identifying the doll was originally marked as a "C.M. Bergmann" doll despite the lack of such incised markings on the doll itself. 34" (86cm)
