Pair of 11" Kaga School Meiji Period Japanese Bronze Tripod Koro Censors - This is a pair of Kaga School Japanese bronze tripod koros. They are elaborately decorated with inlaid birds and flowers in gilt, silver, and coloured bronze, and the lids with mounted shishi. These pieces are signed, which is unusual, as most of the output from the Kaga School was not signed. The label on the base is the shop's tag, and says that the pieces are bronzes with bird and flower decoration.
