Description
FREE- AND BLOWN-MOLDED COMMERCIAL COLOGNE BOTTLES, LOT OF TWO, comprising a colorless vial with label printed "EAU DE COLOGNE Jean Marie Farina/ Rue du Rhin No. 23."; and an aquamarine rectangular example molded with a plume on three sides, and printed label for Charles Mead, South Boston, over an earlier label. Each bottle with rough pontil mark. Patrick F. Slane's American Glass Co., South Boston, MA and an unidentified Boston area glass house. 1847-1857. 7 1/4" and 5 7/8" H.
Vial undamaged, other with 1/2" W chip and 1/2" L crack to mouth.
