Description
FREE-BLOWN CANDY / APOTHECARY JAR, colorless, deep cylindrical bowl with folded rim, raised on a funnel-form foot with wide folded rim and rough pontil mark, original domed cover with pinched flange and hollow, drawn finial having a berry prunt applied to top. Together with a finial fragment featuring a blue berry prunt dug at the Sandwich factory site. Two pieces total. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1828-1860. 15 3/4" HOA, 11 1/2" H jar, 6 1/4" D rim, 6" D foot.
Undamaged, some light interior wear.
