HUA GUOFENG
(1921-2008) Chinese politician, Mao Zedong's designated successor as the paramount leader and Premier of China, as well as the Chairman of the Communist Party of China. Hua was responsible for halting the Cultural Revolution and ousting the Gang of Four from political power. Rare S.P., 5" x 7" color, a view of Hua and other Party leaders, surrounded by dancers at a massive public celebration. Hua adds his signature in black ink at the top of the frame. The photo is mounted on a black paper backing, and shows some slight creasing to the corners, else very good to fine.
