GEN. J.E.B. STUART COMMEMORATIVE LEMAT REVOLVER
Modern production black powder LeMat revolver, 6 3/4" barrel, 13" overall, commemorating Confederate cavalry general J.E.B. STUART (1833-1864). The metalwork of the revolver is finished black overall, with numerous gold embellishments, including the general's name along the left side of the lower barrel, the phrase "Yours to Count On" along the opposite side and various Confederate symbols on the cylinder, along with the dates of Stuart's birth and death. The revolver was produced by the American Historical Foundation, and is numbered number 106 of an unknown series. It bears no further serial number. Also present are nine gold-plated LeMat revolver balls. The revolver is housed in a padded wood display case with an informational plaque, with additional informational paperwork, including a letter notifying the original purchaser that he is a Founding Patron of the General Stuart - Colonel Mosby Museum in Richmond, Virginia, and is in fine condition.
