This lot of 2 contains the following:
1 - Columbus Army Flying School - Southeast Army Air Forces Training Center. 128pp. Forward by Lieutenant General Henry H. Arnold. 1942. An annual for the Southeast Army Air Forces Training Center. Detailing members of all classes including the African American 65th Aviation Squadron with photos of all service members. Measures 12.25".
2 - USS Valley Forge - World Cruise 1947-1948. A photo book full of details on the USS Valley Forge an its crew from 1947-1948 when it was the flagship of Task Force 38 and Carrier Division Five which sailed from San Diego. Details the deployment during this time with numerous photos and captions. Measures 12.25"
Both books privately printed.

Condition

Condition - Both have canvas covers and spines with decorative tooling and tarnished gilt. Covers slightly bowed. USS Valley Forge shows a bend in the upper right hand corner of the covers and pages within. See photos for more info re: condition.
