Holding this 3.02 carat rectangle, cushion mixed cut tanzanite gem with a type I clarity in a medium, violetish, blue color. This tanzanite stone is set within a diamond bezel supported by a diamond set under gallery and diamond set split shoulders, completed by a two millimeter wide band. These one hundred ten prong set, round, brilliant cut diamonds have a total weight of 0.46 carat, graded in setting. The rare tanzanite gemstone is interesting because of it's exceptional pleochroism which may exhibit multiple changes of color depending on the angle and rotation.
