A bronze folding knife-handle in the form of an ornamental table-leg comprising a hinged rectangular block above a lioness's head with gaping mouth over a curved chest and single clawed paw below; slot to the reverse. 60 grams, 71mm (2 3/4"). Property of a Suffolk collector; acquired in the 1950s-1980s; thence by decent.
