French Louis XIII Style Carved Walnut Marble Top Dresser, late 19th c., the broken arch crest above an arched beveled mirror flanked by rope twist supports above two glove drawers on a base with an inset highly figured verde antico marble over a frieze drawer above setback incised double cupboard doors opening to three sliding drawers within rope twist supports on a stepped base with disc feet, H.- 92 in., W.- 49 in., D.- 21 7/8 in.

Condition consistent with age and use. Approximate 1 inch chip to base of right finial. Crack across top of each glove drawer. Pinholes from wood beetle exposure throughout. 3 inch shelf lacking from right side of mirror. Three 5 inch thin chips to bottom edge. Approximate 3 by 2 inch break in front right corner of marble. 1 inch triangular chip nearby. 12 inch crack along marble grain with a pea-size chip at edge. 8 inch hairline crack in marble to left.
