JOHNSON AMY: (1903-1941) English Pioneer Aviatrix. A good vintage signed 8 x 5.5 photograph, the image depicting Johnson in a three quarter length pose happily emerging from the cockpit of her aircraft and being greeted by a gentleman, presumably her husband the aviator James Mollison. A little surprisingly Johnson is not wearing aviator's clothes. A crowd of onlookers can be seen to the right of the image which bears the credit stamp of Keystone to the verso. Signed ('Amy Mollison') in blue fountain pen ink with her name alone to a clear area of the image. One very slight, minor corner crease, otherwise VG
