Lawrence writes, in full, 'Keep the book as long as you like - the probable owner is in Wales. It takes months to wade through.' Provenance: The present letter was previously part of the inventory of the late autograph & manuscript dealer Michael Silverman, and was one of several letters to Benham. In his catalogue notes Silverman observed that in the present letter Lawrence was referring to his autobiographical work Seven Pillars of Wisdom (1922).
