Large Murano hand blown heavy iridescent Italian art glass rooster bird bowl. Documented to designer Dino Martens, for Aureliano Toso, and published in his book. Model # 5372, in the "Variegato" design, circa 1954. It has gold flecks on the red crest. Measures 10" tall x 7 1/2" long x 6 3/4" wide. Looks like the very tip of the beak was nicked.
