The featured opal is set within a diamond floret supported by a ribbed under gallery, completed by a three millimeter wide band. Identified with markings of '750 18K'. Condition is good. Containing: One semi crystal opal that is cut in a oval shaped cabochon and is prong set, measuring 17.10 mm long x 12.10 mm wide, and 3.00 mm thick and the approximate weight is 3.87 carats. The opal has a bright, multicolor play of color (fire) in a flashfire pattern; a low dome; a good cut; slightly included; slight variation in base in its brightness and pattern; and is slightly directional.
