BLENKO GLASS - WINSLOW ANDERSON BOWLS, LOT OF THREE, comprising a Lemon, seeded Olive Green, and a seeded green example; two large bowls signed and dated by the artist. Mid-20th century. 3 5/8" to 6" H, 9 1/4" to 13" D rims.
Two large bowls undamaged, green bowl with a sizeable crack to the body, possibly as made.
Provenance: Winslow Anderson estate sold to benefit the Huntington Museum of Art.
Large Green Exhibited: Huntington Museum of Art, 1981.
Catalogue Note: Winslow Anderson was the first design director at Blenko, he held this position from 1946 - 1952 before moving on as a design director for Lenox China in 1953.
