BLENKO NO. 443 GLASS - WINSLOW ANDERSON JUG, seeded Chartreuse, applied handle, rough pontil mark, signed, "WINSLOW ANDRESON/MARK USE FOR CHARTREUSE COLOR SAMPLE AND AMOUNT OF SALTS/BLENKO". Circa 1948. 11" H.

Catalogue Note: Winslow Anderson was the first design director at Blenko, he held this position from 1946 - 1952 before moving on as a design director for Lenox China in 1953. From the notes of the Huntington Museum: "Perfectly Chartreuse & right amount of seeds jug."
