GERMAN ZEISEL BAUHAUS CERAMIC TEA SET, LOT OF 27, comprising one 7 5/8" H teapot, one covered sugar dish, one 4 1/4" H pitcher/creamer, eight 7 7/8" D plates, and eight cup and saucer sets; all with polychrome earth tone design of country scene and architecture. Marked "MAJOLIKA / SMF / SCHRAMBERG / Handgemalt", some marked "MADE IN / GERMANY". Schramberger Majolika-Fabrik, Schramberg, Germany. Circa 1930.
19 pieces undamaged, several small flakes on spout and rims of teapot, and one flake on rim and cover of sugar dish, otherwise mostly minute glaze flakes, particularly to high points and expected glaze crazing. Several pieces with small area of glaze loss on underside of rim from manufacturing as it is triangulated with two other touch points.
