The entire contents of the large-scale volume that was published in 1986 was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, New York from November 6- February 10, 1987. 'Untitled A' was published at the same time as another lithograph 'Untitled B' which has a similar elongated format and was also printed on three sheets.
