Description
2nd - In March, 1967, that scourge of inside-the-box thinkers, the San Francisco Mime Troupe, was busted for possession of marijuana seed in Calgary, Canada. Bill Graham assembled a group of favorite local bands to play at this benefit for the Troupe's legal costs. This was one of poster artist Stanley Mouse's early posters for Bill Graham, he designed his first independent effort for the BG series in December, 1967, and was amusing in its delicious depiction of faux solemnity.
