Masterworks Of Chinese Porcelain In The National Palace Museum. The National Palace Museum is located in Taiwan. It has a permanent collection of nearly 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese imperial artifacts and artworks, making it one of the largest of its type in the world. The collection encompasses 8,000 years of history of Chinese art from the Neolithic age to the modern. Most of the collection are high quality pieces collected by China's emperors. Both volumes are just about fine, as are the clear dust jackets.  Originally published in 1969 & 1973, these copies  appear to have been published by Gakken, Japan, in 1980 and 1982. A bilingual edition in Japanese and in English. Orange cloth bindings, with crisp gilt-stamped lettering to the spines and front boards. 10.75 x 8.25 inches. Slip cases are in near fine condition.
