Details: 3Pcs This lot consists of antique United States commemorative coins. It includes:

-1861 Half Dollar coin. Obverse shows a seated Lady Liberty in relief with shield marked "LIBERTY", circled by 13 stars and the year "1861". Reverse has relief of the US eagle, shield, arrows and olive branch and reads "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA HALF DOLLAR". Edges are scored, and coin measures 30mm in diameter.
-1855 New York State Prohibition token (Maine Law). Obverse reads "STATE OF NEW YORK NO REPEAL JULY 4 1855" with a sunburst and upturned goblet. Reverse reads "TO COMMEMORATE THE PASSAGE OF THE PROHIBITORY LIQUOR LAW" circled by a decorative wreath. There is a small hole drilled in the top. 27mm diameter.
-Token commemorating or advertising the relief fund organized by Colonel James Fisk Jr. after the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. Obverse shows a relief bust portrait of Fisk and reads "COL. JAMES FISK JR." Reverse shows a steam locomotive train (Fisk was heavily involved in the Erie Railroad) and reads "RELIEF FOR CHICAGO". There is a small hole drilled in the top. 23mm in diameter.

Condition / Notes: These tokens and coin are in good to excellent condition and show signs of normal period wear that may include patina, abrasions, rust and soiling. The surfaces show slight wear and are completely legible. The Prohibition token is in particularly good condition.
