With a veined, red and white marble top with a molded border; the front containing two drawers sans traverse both fitted with foliate ormolu handles and the lower one with a foliate ormolu mount on the apron; raised on cabriole legs ending in pierced and foliate ormolu sabots and cabochons. The whole decorated with lacquer representing oriental landscapes in tones of gold on a black ground. The lacquer of later date. Having scattered areas of loss/wear.
