11 monthly issues, January through December, lacking November's issue. 12 colored fashion plates, many other illustrations in text. Laid in are 8 (of 11) printed patterns for sewing on tissue paper, each with a small leaf of instructions on blue paper. Cut pieces for the patterns of 2 of the 3 lacking printed patterns are present, as are their instruction leaves; one pattern (No. 8) is lacking in its entirety. (Folio) 37.5x26.5 (14¾x10½") period cloth-backed boards.

Wonderful turn of the century Italian fashions, presented very much in the style of the French fashion magazines of the late 19th century. The sewing patterns understandably rare.
