1. c. 1855-60, American School Color Portrait of George Washington as Colonel of the First Virginia Regiment, after C.W. Peale, Engraved by J.B. Forrest (1814-1870), Framed, Very Fine. Engraved “G. WASHINGTON” facsimile signature printed below the Three quarter length Portrait, shown in the uniform of a Colonel in the Virginia Service. Vignette. Stipple. Height 5 4 l6 inches; width 3 S-l6 inches. Housed in a early gold painted vintage oval frame to 10.5” x 8.5” having some even tone to the paper. This image After the original miniature painted by Charles W. Peale. Original in possession of G. W. P. Custis Esq. New York, G. P. Putnam &' Co. See: [Life of George Washington. 2. c. 1952 Reprinted, Abraham Lincoln Photograph (Ostendorf-26) Produced from the Glass Copy Plates of George Ayers, by Yousuf Karsh, Limited Edition #24-A of 1000, Choice Extremely Fine. This Lincoln Photograph was produced from the original Alexander Hesler negative, by Yosouf Karsh, measuring 13.75” x 10.75” matted and framed to an overall size of 22.25” x 18”. Mat reads, “Print by Karsh, Ottawa. Original negative by Hesler, 1860” in lower left corner. Back of mat has a sticker which reads, “This edition is limited to one thousand sets of which this print is No. 24-A”.

3. c. 1880s, Vintage Cabinet Card Photograph of Col. William “Buffalo Bill” Cody, Fine. This 4.25” x 6.5” Cabinet Card Photograph shows a chest-up pose of “Buffalo Bill” in a coat and tie wearing his hat. Facsimile printed autograph signature of "Col. W.F. Cody "Buffalo Bill" below image. Photograph by Brisbois of State St., Chicago. During the Civil War, Cody served in the 7th Kansas Cavalry Regiment. Later, Cody was chief of scouts for the Third Cavalry during the Indian Wars. He got his nickname for supplying Kansas Pacific Railroad workers with bison meat. He claimed to have worked many jobs, but he became world famous for his Wild West show. Wear to the card with a 1” edge tear sealed with a piece of clear tape on the blank reverse and surface scuffs, otherwise having sharp focus and strong contrast to the classic Buffalo Bill image.
