Description
Hans Harders (1871 - 1950) 'The Flute Player', A Cold-Painted Bronze, engraved `HARDERS' to base and 'Germany' on the underside, circa 1925, fashioned as a handsome young Japanese male in traditional robes and hat playing the flute, in a predominately silver-coloured patination, raised on a double tier diamond shape marble base. This rare and unusual sculpture would make an impressive addition to any fine 20th century modern art collection. SIZE: 11 1/4" Height (without base) / 12 3/4" Height (with base). CONDITION: Some normal wear to the base, some minor loss (mostly on the flute), overall most of the paint is intact and the work is in very good to excellent condition.
