Description
Roman Empire, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 3rd century CE. A petite asymmetrical vessel made of deep yellow glass with a concave bottom, rounded base, slight indentations near lower base area, a wide body narrowing to a tubular neck, and a rolled rim with small mouth opening. Faint silvery exterior iridescence overlays a brilliant and intense gold-colored interior iridescence. A stunning example of an unusual coloration! Size: 1.75" W x 3.5" H (4.4 cm x 8.9 cm).
