Description
Roman Empire, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A small translucent pale green glass vessel with a concave bottom and rounded stable base, wide body and rounded shoulders flowing into a narrow tubular neck that gradually expands to a wide mouth and rounded lip. The neck itself displays four thick black-cherry-colored rigaree bands which trail into several thinner bands above each, save for the top band (which is a stand-alone trail). Beautiful rainbow iridescence where visible. Size: 2.25" W x 4.5" H (5.7 cm x 11.4 cm)
