Provenance: This item is part of autograph collections of Mr. Mike Newton, a writer for Fort Hamilton Press from 1960’s to 1980’s (or later). Some of his correspondence bears the name of Jim Newton. It appears that he writes biographies, articles about history, films in various genre, politics and more in his regular column in Fort Hamilton Press. This gives him the purpose and passion to write to personalities, politicians, businessman, royalties and important individuals to gain materials for press releases or articles. He also gained regular correspondence on some of them and collected, kept and treasured their signed photos, letters and documents he received on the mail. He is also an author of a number of books published by Fort Hamilton Press, Hamilton, Ohio.
