Note: This lot accompanied by a letter from Dr. David Wegner, Ph.D., dated January 16th, 2017, outlining dye analysis and interpretation certifying cochineal and indigo dyes. Provenance: Gifted to Mr. Albert Schmidt, the personal butler for Mrs. Randall Morgan of Chestnut Hill, PA, in the early 20th century; handed down by descent through the family to present owner

Overall good condition with scattered small spots of soiling, small holes/losses, minor repairs and wear commensurate with age, including a 1.5'' x 1'' hole to field and a 1.5'' x 1'' loss to one corner.
