Features monkeys dressed in Renaissance era clothing playing instruments along the corners intersected by scrolled rococo floral motifs. Designed with two concaves for cigar placement. Finished with gilded trims and accents. Includes original box and is marked on the bottom:"Porcelaine de Limoges 'Songs du XVIIeme' Decor d'Arabesques d'un plafond attribue a Claude Audran III-vers 1720- Paris, Musee des Arts Decoratifs Phillipe Deshoulieres" along with a Phillipe Deshoulieres stamp.
