This is an original vintage ring that was made from 14k yellow gold during the 1980s. It is stamped 585 and originates from Germany. This unisex style ring is centrally set with 1 natural blue sapphire that is an oval shaped, cabochon cut weighing approx. 1 carat. This stone measures approx. 7.2 x 4.9 x 4.03 mm and it has a dark blue color. The ring is also set with 2 brilliant cut diamonds of F-G color, VS clarity that weigh approx. .32 ctw. The band of the ring measures 8.24 mm wide at the top and tapers down to 3.10 mm at the bottom of the shank. The ring sits 5.5 mm high to the top of the sapphire. The ring size is approx. an 8.25 and it has been resized, which has given in a somewhat oval shape. The total weight is 7.1 gram.
