An Egyptian terracotta head of a woman, Alexandria, 1st Century AD, her features nicely detailed, hair styled in ridges with a coiled plait atop her hair, ears pierced for earrings in another substance. H: 3 in (7.6 cm). Mounted on an old base. An attractive piece with light deposits. Ex collection of Dr. Michael A Telson.
