SCHNEIDER ART DECO GLASS SMALL COMPOTE WITH A WROUGHT IRON FOOT, H 7", DIA 5":Orange bowl with a flared mottled blue rim resting on a dark purple amethyst stem terminating in a wrought iron circular kaleidoscopic foot; acid etched script signature reading "Schneider France" and applied vertically at the base of the stem. Probably c. mid 1920's but could be later in date.

Extremely minor scratch on rim; wrought iron base is slightly loose; the first 3 letters of the signature are disappearing under the top of the wrought iron foot; the nature of the way that the foot was made dictates a certain instability in the way that the compote sits on a surface; slight wear to bottom of foot.
