Description
Late 17th / 18th Century, many impressed with touch marks and pseudo hallmarks. The seventeen-piece collection comprises: six broad rim chargers or deep dishes, one with owner’s initials L B, a plain rimmed charger initialed W B, two broad rim small plates, a pair of baluster candlesticks with a deep flared base and a set of six spoons, the reverse impressed London, with pseudo hallmarks, possibly 1660, the handles cast as stylized ram’s head, the bowls initialed T.W., beneath a duck, now housed on an armorial carved oak spoon rack. (17 pieces) Diameter of largest charger 18". Height of candlesticks 8 1.2". (Cond: as is, wear consistent with age and use, three broad rim chargers with a rich dark patina) (500/700)
