The tall bulbous body slightly wider to shoulder, with prominent neck to wide opening, raised on concave footed ring base. The vase is wealthy decorated in gilt overglaze hand painting of enormous dragons flying above wavy LiShui water between flames in pursuit of a flaming pearl. Showing Fu-bats between ruyi clouds on neck. Adorned with colorful lotus scrolling tendrils and auspicious patterns banded along the rim, shoulder, and foot. Banded with gilt ring around outer lip. All against black underglazed ground.


Mark on base, six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing
