Description
Early 20th century, Berber/Amazigh (likely Morocco or Algeria). Having incised floral and geometric designs. One featuring a raised central dome with a Hamsa/Hand of Fatima charm. Good condition. 6 1/2” H. x 3” W. One in abstracted hand-shape with applied, central animal figure. Silver is cracked at top and incising is worn. 5 1/4” H. x 3” W. Along with woven purple belt having applied band of eight coins featuring Arabic script. Two coins read “1320.” Groups of silver, red, gold, and blue beads accent space between coins. Coins have been drilled on either side to attach to belt. Belt, 30 1/2” L. x 1” W. Largest coin, 1 1/2” Dia. 8.815 total T. oz.
