Description

Gerald Cassidy (American, 1879-1934) Indian Woman and Child. Oil on canvasboard, signed lower right and with the artist's device 16" x 12" Frame: 20.25" x 16.25"

Condition

There are some thin cracks, mostly in the upper half. The painting is a bit dirty and could use cleaning. The backing paper is glued down to the board. It is only free at the edges where it meets the frame. The frame appears to be from the 1940's or 1950's at the latest
