Item Details

Description

A large pair of cast bronze opposing recumbent garden or entry lions, near life-size and rendered naturalistically with eye's closed, resting having green patination on gray paint. Apparently unsigned. Approximate height 18", width 52", depth 20".

Condition

Casting flaws, small firing holes on mane. Probable repair to paw (see image #8). Typical scattered excretions and some finish loss commensurate with exposure to exterior elements. Each lion weighs approximately 150 pounds. Prior to bidding, please consult the additional photos provided and ask all pertinent questions (i.e. condition, size, etc.).
