Chinese, circa 1960s. A set of carved panels in the form of a two-tiered temple, lacquered red and black, inset with pierced giltwood panels, some with figural motifs, and some depicting flowering foliage, including prunus trees, cherry trees, and water lilies. Marked with "Made in Taiwan Republic of China" label. Approximate height 35.5", width 81", depth 8.5". Provenance: From the Estate of Anne Eng, owner of Trader Eng's / House of Eng, Atlanta, GA.
