Description
American, last half 20th century. A large cut glass pitcher, having an outward tapering form, a shaped spout, a cut handle, and a floral motif, together with a footed urn form vase with a scalloped rim. Both apparently unmarked. Approximate height (of pitcher) 14", diameter (including handle) 8", (of vase) 14.5", diameter 7.75". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Susan E. Yeomans of S. Battery, Charleston, South Carolina (a descendant of former Governor of South Carolina Ibra C. Blackwood and his wife, Margaret Hodges; former President of the United States of America, Grover Cleveland; and former Governor of South Carolina, Carroll Ashmore Campbell Jr.).
