Description
Attributed to Mastercraft Furniture Company (circa 1947-1985). A set of six burlwood dining chairs, each having a pierced and scrolled back, with a gilt metal finial, with a red, green, yellow, and blue striped velvet seat, with an incised seat rail, on squared tapering front legs with incised decoration and saber back legs. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 36", width 17", seat depth 18.5", seat to floor 18".
Condition
All chairs structurally sound. Various patches and overpainting to veneer observed under blacklight; not distracting. Upholstery appears to be tight to frame.
