Description
An Original Pre-Production Set Drawing from "Gone With The Wind." Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, 1939. Rendered in gouache and pencil on illustration board, depicting an interior space showing probably "Scarlett" walking down a staircase as probably "Rhett" waits for her while another man stands at the door; verso displays some quickly rendered sketches of knights in pencil; unsigned but created by Joseph Hayse Goodwin, a Hollywood sketch artist who worked on early versions of designs for "GWTW" though other artists' drawings were used for the film; from The Estate of Joseph Hayse Goodwin as consigned by his family. (Please note there is a 1 1/2" tear on the upper border.)
