A tegha, dating: 18th/19th Century, provenance: India, dating: 18th/19th Century, provenance: India, Very wide, curved, single-and false-edged blade with a 'T'-shaped back, engraved through all the length on the right side, then a segment with floral motifs with some brass inlays, Shiva e Nandi among floral motifs, followed by four cartouches portraying Krishna with a cow, Ganesh, Shiva on foot, another version of Krishna; on the other side, after a segment with floral motifs with some brass inlays, a figure of Krishna playing a flute, followed by four cartouches portraying Shiva, Hanuman, Garuda, and another unidentified figure. Back with symbols (inscriptions?). Big, iron hilt in Shah Jahani style. Wooden scabbard covered with beige velvet (worn-out)., length 83.5 cm.
