Magnet live steam train locomotive, 2-2-2, with double cylinder engine, fully functional, very finely crafted and highly detailed construction with two engraved plaques, the boiler front plate engraved R. Ockelford, 1850, the boiler side engraved Magnet, among the fittings are the break on/off handled lever, the sight glass on/off lever, and a steam whistle, other features include leaf-springed wheels, functional front bumpers with leather-covered springs, a crosshatched engraved foot plate, presented on a 5 1/4'' track, all mounted on a footed wood base with a fitted glass cover, 12'' h., 17'' w. This was the most prized item in Mr. Luethke's collection.
