Description
OL-12A CORNUCOPIA AND SCROLL OVAL PRESSED OPEN SALT, unlisted swirling opalescent to opaque lavender, serrated large-scallop rim. Probably extremely rare, possibly unique. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1835-1850. 1 3/8" H, 2 3/8" x 3 3/8".
Near proof appearance but with a 3/4" x 1 1/2" piece glued at rim, shallow chip and moderate bruise to inner rim not affecting the profile, small area of flaking/mold roughness to outside of foot, shallow chip under foot.

Catalogue Note: This is the first example of this salt that we have sold.
