Description
BS-3A BEADED SCROLL AND BASKET OF FLOWERS PRESSED OPEN SALT, opal opaque (unlisted in Neal), raised on four scrolled feet, rayed star base, thick heavy pressing. Extremely rare. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1835-1845. 1 7/8" H, 2" x 3 1/8".
Rim is proof except for a minor spot of interior mold roughness, normal mold roughness to outside of upper scrolls, moderate chip to two feet on one side. Annealing check to base not affecting the resonance, as made.
