JOSEPH FRANK “BUSTER” KEATON (1895-1966). American silent film actor.
June 12, 1945-Dated Printed Legal Document Signed, “Buster Keaton,” 1 page, 8.5” x 11”, Very Fine. Typed and Hand-Signed agreement on official MGM letterhead between Keaton and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures. The contract describes the terms of the agreement for Keaton to take leave from his contract of employment for 2 days (June 4-6, 1945) without compensation. The iconic comedian has signed in black pen, “Buster Keaton” on the bottom of the contract below the signature of a Lowe’s Incorporated Asst. Treasurer signature. With four hole punches at top center, else in very nice condition.
