Beautiful copy of what has been described as probably the best local history of the Akron and Summit County, Ohio area. An extremely handy and informative reference for anyone interested in research and genealogy of the area. I found it invaluable for my own research when I wrote The History of the Van Hyning Neighborhood (Barberton, Ohio) in 1987. Clean and straight, with solid hinges. Very minor rubbing to bottom edge mostly at spine and tips; extremely light rubbing at top spine, else fine. Interior fine. No marks inside except for three words on title page. 834 pages; indexed.
