A German Silvered Metal Medal by Georges Morin (1874-1950) from the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, St. Louis, 1904,
The obverse depicts an older man guiding a nude, younger man toward the horizon, and is inscribed 'War Nicht das Auge Sonnen Haft, Sie Sonne Konnt es Nie Erblicken'. The reverse depicts an eagle flying over the Cascade Gardens, and is surrounded by the inscription 'Weltausstellung St. Louis 1904, Den Foerderern der Deutschen Unterrichts Ausstellung'. Signed on the obverse.
