Description

Pair of Large French Majolica Baluster Handled Vases, 19th c., in the form of clustered ears of corn, on a relief circular base, H.- 16 3/4 in., W.- 12 in., D.- 10 in.

Condition

Condition consistent with age. Small specks of white residue in crevices. An approximate ¼ inch firing line at the base of one handle. Mild craquelure throughout. A pea-size spot of brown residue on one handle. A pea-size rough area in the glaze on one side. A nice pair. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
